Moeen Ahmed (Vice President 2022-23)

My time with the Health and Mind Club as a former Vice President, starting from being an editorial member, was a transformative journey. It changed my perspective on mental health and provided me with meaningful experiences. Being a part of the club allowed me to connect with like-minded individuals who were passionate about mental health advocacy.

Together, we organized various events and initiatives to raise awareness, educate others, and promote mental well-being. The most memorable ones inlcude participating in a podcast, baking brownies for a trivia quiz and hearing raunaks jokes in ” break the bias”. These experiences not only helped me develop leadership skills but also reinforced my commitment to mental health advocacy, and made me feel like a part of a caring and supportive family, brimming with talent (the juniors that are now in charge of the club>>).

Through my involvement in the club, I gained invaluable insights into the complexities of mental health and learned to appreciate the importance of self-care and self-compassion. The club provided a safe space for open and honest conversations about mental health, breaking the stigma and fostering a supportive community.

I am grateful for the lasting impact the club has had on my life, and I will always cherish the memories and lessons I gained from my time with this incredible organization.
