Being part of the Health and Mind Club has been one of the best experiences of my life.
I joined the club in 9th grade when I barely knew much about it, and throughout the years, I gained the confidence and skills to become the Vice President of Well-being.
This club taught me leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and so much more. It wasn’t just a club; it was a place where I could grow as a person and learn new things. It gave me a space to voice my opinions and host events and activities that helped others, and those were some of the best memories from my school days. Seeing students enjoy the activities we hosted was a feeling I can’t explain.
One of the best events I had the chance of hosting was Project Unboxed, the Youth Mental Health Conclave. The event was a journey through many ups and downs, but it taught me how to manage things, and I had the best time during it. I learned so much through our esteemed speakers and got the chance to hear the students’ ideas on various topics relating to mental health.
This club has given me so much, from lifelong skills to a community that will always be a part of me wherever I am. I hope my time in this club has inspired others to make a difference and be a part of something great.
