Being a member of the health and Mind Club since 9th grade was one of the most enriching journeys I embarked on. It gave me the opportunity to step beyond theory and actively contribute to breaking the stigma around mental health within our school community. Through initiatives like Break the Bias and interactive break time events, I learned how powerful a safe space can be-where people feel heard, understood and accepted.
The highlight of the year was surely Project Unboxed 2.0. This milestone event united students, mental health professionals and advocates in a meaningful exchange aimed at promoting awareness and strengthening support for mental well-being within our community. The perspectives shared and connections formed during the conclave are sure to leave a lasting impression, advancing our commitment to making mental health a priority.
It was truly an honor to be a part of team that lead this movement. In the end, this journey stands as a reminder that meaningful change begins with awareness, grows through collaboration and thrives when each of us takes responsibility for building a more compassionate and supportive community
