PEER EDUCATION PROJECT: HEALTH & MIND CLUB RAISES AWARENESS ON POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH

Members of the Health & Mind Club conducted an interesting webinar for grade 8 -Boys on 17th October 2021. The topic for the webinar was SLEEP: Finding our confidence with Sleep.

The webinar conducted by Obban Hedge and Shobhit Sinha, 12H gave students an opportunity to understand what sleep is and the impact of good sleep on mental health and well-being and the different ways we can promote good sleep health amongst ourselves.
The webinar was an eye opener for many students. The speakers reminded students about the principles of good sleep health. These are all about valuing, prioritizing, personalizing, and protecting our sleep, but also about recognizing that good sleep is a natural process that will find its own pattern in time.

Our lifestyle and environment around us  can influence sleep health. It is vital to reduce factors that affect our sleep negatively and focus on what helps us achieve good sleep health.

Understanding how sleep works and learning about our own sleep patterns, we can build the confidence to begin improving it. We hope this webinar has equipped students with positive practices to promote good mental health and wellbeing.
